    Or spare parts! LOL They don't want to pay for returns on a dead spike that has to be charged and then paired. They have to pair the charged base to a charged spike. If they ship only a charged spike it'll be totally discharged when you get it and your base won't recognize it to charge it...

    Yes! That is what is happening with the defective probe discharging your base battery like mine did. Your entire unit maybe discharged and probes when they send the new one to you if from Amazon like I mentioned in my super long post. LOL

    RFX App update?

    This is a thread that should be on going for the many that got crap being in the Beta or starter release. Pretty silent. Is that good news? Who still has problems and lousy battery life? The warranty for a year with probes is expiring. Two years for the gateway but the Thermapen is five years.
