    Looks like you live in a pretty humid climate. You probably know this, but you should store pellets is a dry place. Removing pellets from hopper after a cook and storing them in dry place, is a good idea as well. Pellets can swell with humidity and cause issues.

    Howdy and welcome to the group from New Mexico. I don't have either, @seenred just got a HastyBake recently, not sure of the model. Maybe he will see this. I have an LSG, but it is a pellet smoker.

    Thanks for the reply. My Escali has same issue, trying to see the display or use buttons when something large is on it. Never used batteries in the Escali, always plugged it in.
