    About red rtv sealant ?

Because it's melded to the paper. Never heard of covering the seal with wax paper. Perhaps the wax side of the paper was "up" instead of down?

    First of several I'd imagine

These indictments have nothing to due with the current virus situation, but I do imagine you will see more stories like this in the next few years. I found it an interesting read anyways. https://apnews.com/8fc86555dd6c262c3e56a35c0a618469

    100% Mesquite Pellets

I guess if anyone is real interested, my rural king has them for 8.88 this week. I could pick them up, but you would have to pay the shipping. And I don't know what shipping would be on 20/40 or 60 or more lbs of pellets lol

    100% Mesquite Pellets

I didn't know they stopped making them. I just bought a bag on Saturday and there was an entire full pallet of them at rural King. I may have to go back

Cook time & temp advice needed

Depends on how you want to do them. You could throw them in for an hour and then finish them in a high heat oven or grill or something like that to toast the bacon a bit. If you're not going to worry about the texture of the bacon is much then think more 90-120 mins ish. Basically the pepper...

UDS Build in Seattle, WA - Plan to bury as dual fire pit

So the terracotta or whatever pipe allows you to use more of a snake method on your coals? I just run the minion myself and it works just fine. My fire basket looks just like yours except it does not have the attached pizza pan. I suppose the pizza pan would be a good idea as it would force...

    Burgers for dinner.

Mac sauce has a bit of Dill relish in it too as I recall. Been many years since I've had a big Mac. Perhaps adding a more bread and butter flavored relish would help with your sugar problem as well

UDS Build in Seattle, WA - Plan to bury as dual fire pit

I guess I would add in by saying, if you have not experienced trying to remove ashes from a UDS, having the ability to tip the barrel upside down and give it a couple whacks on the bottom with a hammer is generally the most effective way. If you had some sort of ash pan below your charcoal...

UDS Build in Seattle, WA - Plan to bury as dual fire pit

I am also curious as to the reason to bury it. typically the air intakes for those are on the bottom and the exhaust is on the top to create natural draft. What you are looking to create in essence is a reverse flow UDS. this would require tuning plates of some sort I would imagine. I would...
