    For Sale: Red's Direct Heat Smoker/Grill $700

Glad you made it home safe! It is a heck of a cooker. Very well thought out and will be able to do many things. @seenred is a great guy. Could have chatted for hours and I'm not too talkative. Wrapped up the smoker like delicate flower. I can tell why his smoker builds are so popular here...

    Freaking enablers

Nice work!. I have the same grate and vortex. They work awesome together. Using the vortex big side up is great for reverse searing a steak. Toss the steak over the vortex for a few minutes each side at the end gives a nice sear.

    Offset Firebox thoughts

I do not have an offset, therefore my my opinion is not worth much. I'm not sure you gain much with the fire bricks other than weight and maybe wait. Waiting for the fire bricks to heat up may delay cooking start. I'm sure once they are hot, they'll retain heat. Do you have some sort of...

    For Sale: Red's Direct Heat Smoker/Grill $700

I'll just say thanks to all the well wishers. I'm not savvy enough for the multi-quote responses. I agree with everyone on the quality of the build. I've been eyeing it thru the whole build. I've also watched enough Kent Rollins & Chud's videos to know they are a versatile cooker. This one...
