    Here is another option as to where to put it. The main thing is to get it burning really good. This is my MES 30. Later I added a piece of angle to set the left side on.

    I would use the Totally Awesome to clean it but I finally gave up and seldom clean it. Cant see thru the smoke when it is clean so why bother. And on my unit the light is outside above the door which is useless!

    Make sure you dumping into the burning tray and not on the element! I dont think its designed for lumps either.

    Try and find San Marzano tomato plants. They are a plum type with fewer seeds and very meaty!

    newbie here with some questions

    I just read the specs on that smoker. It's rated at 250 W with a Max temperature of 165 deg. Dont expect too much out of it. Good Luck and have patients!

    I have a 2 1/2# in the MES 30 right now. Will see how it goes. 225 Deg, no water pan, pellet tray. Hoping for 210 internal.
