    When I do smoke for crowds, I will smoke the day before if I cant do it the day of,  I go ahead and smoke it til it hits 200 then double wrap in foil, stick in cooler for a few hours and pull, place in fridge and cover.  Next day mix up a finishing sauce and stir well, reheat in oven covered, or...

    I dont have that type of tank, but I would think the thicker the walls on the tank the better it will hold temps.  You might want to search some threads on here of different builds that relate to yours and ask them in their post.  You might get a better responce.  Good luck

    That is a great idea.  Running all wood is a little tricky to manage at times.  I am still getting the hang of it.

    RF question

    You dont need to be really heavy there.  12 or 14 gauge should be just fine. I have a 300 gallon RF and it is 38" across the middle and 61" long.  Hope this helps.  Post some pics.

    Is there a paint that doesnt come off?

    I used Rustoleum 1000 degree high heat paint and my firebox has shown zero sign of paint falling off.

    Wood Questions

    How long do you typically dry your wood for after cutting? Do any of you strip all the bark off the wood, or smoke it with? How long would you let a downed tree lay and still cut on it? Do you tarp when its stacked or place in a shed? Thanks
