    what lubricant for grinders/stuffers

    Mine is stainless, but I still need to lube the bearing points where the auger turns. I use EVOO. Can't get any oil more common (easy to find) or food-grade than that.

    How do you get rid of the grease?

    My waterpan catches about 75% of it. The rest I sop up with paper towels. Every once in a while I go at the whole smoker -- a GOSM gasser -- with a pail of Joy and water, a big brush, and the hose. Don't know if that would work with your electric, but that's my story...

    Nice job. It's wierd that any beef, including ribs, can be done less than fully-done: ribs can be medium-rare, for example.
