Down Side of not using a Mail Box with a 30" Master Built?

I would recommend NOT using pellets in the MES tray. I did this once and when I later pulled out the chip loader to check on the pellets, a blast of flames shot out. Fortunately my face wasn't close enough to get burned. I have only used the pellets in the AMZN ever since. Maybe what happened to...

    Soaking jalapenos question.

Poblanos are very mild, but really too big for ABTs. See if your store has the sweet mini's Chef JimmyJ recommended. They have no heat and are about the same size as a Jalapeno. I usually do a few Japs and several sweet mini's when we have people over, turns out well. Good luck, David.

    What did I do wrong?

I agree with Richie, my first thought was a grease flame-up. I always cover my amnps with a foil tent and have never had it flare up. Of course, the mailbox mod would take care of that too. I'm in the same boat as you, I don't want the mailbox taking up deck space. In my case, it would sit right...

    Old fridge build

Looks really good, you did a nice job skinning the door and door frame. It's great that you can run it at 400*, the manufactured electrics don't get hot enough. Does it hold steady at lower temps?
