The threads on each end of the tube were thin plastic. Took about 2 years, but they eventually cracked and came off.
I did get a lot of use out it before then, though.
Looks like a great spread. I noticed the Lumpias in the bottom left hand corner. My ex-wife's aunt was Filipino, and I really miss her lumpias. So much better than the ones I tried to make.
High end doesn't always guarantee low maintenance. My friend bought a Sub-Zero fridge and a Viking range, and has had numerous problems with them both.
I came across this just last week on with my ex-wife's fridge. You can find a ton of "non-chipped" filters for $10 on Ebay, but they won't work unless you peel the label off the chipped one, and stick it over the sensor at the back of mount. Doing this will save you money, but it won't reset the...
Welcome from Everett, bluesrv! You've come to the literal fountain of knowledge here. Virtually any question you have, someone here will have an answer for.
Good lord, that sounds like my daughter. She's the mechanically minded one in her family. Doofus husband doesn't know one end of a screwdriver from another.

The bottoms are bowed and uneven on mine, though. Likely because my son cooked everything on high heat. It took years to break him of that habit.
Same, at least until I retire and am home full time to be with one.
Lost ours a few years ago to cancer. She was actually my daughter's dog, but I was the only one who took her out for a burger now and then, so she especially loved me.
I go to a dog-friendly pub and take treats for the dogs...
I would love to use that silicone sling thing, but most of my loaves are fairly high hydration, and would collapse over both sides before I could get them in the dutch oven. I just go with parchment paper, and try my best not to get my hands and arms branded.
I always wanted to do that with my dad, but never did. Back in the 70's & 80's they would run ads for trips in the local newspapers, the Seattle Times & PI. Those Alaska trips seemed somewhat affordable back then. They look like they're a pretty penny now.
