I never seem to have the buttermilk so I just use heavy cream and it works really well. The buttermilk just adds a bit more twang.

The seasoning profile sounds like it'd make a great sausage. Clearly though, the texture was off but still, it should make for some pretty good eating. Very sorry to hear it wasn't up to expectations though.

You've certainly got the hot sauce stuff going on!! I can only imagine how fantastic the sweet and heat combination would be in that stuff. Label is off the charts cool too. BTW, made some sausage gravy and biscuits for mom a few days ago and she had some (quite a bit) of your Agent Orange sauce...
