Can you fed ex it home for them? Box up a styrofoam cooler filled with bacon and dry ice? I have never done it so dont know the rules. Send it two day and should be fine if allowed.
Thanks for all the comments. I do not get tired of that view each day. Just wish could have taken boat out but lots of debris from level being up over seven feet from normal pool. The wife ate brisket for leftovers, so hoping to have broken the curse.
Very nice setup. What you have on those taps? Kegged mixed drinks? Make your own rootbeer from scratch or an extract? I like a mix of gnome rootbeer and cream extracts.
Forecast is rain, rain, and more rain. Had invited several friends over for bbq sat. I have been wanting brisket since it has been several years since i cooked one. The wife decided a long time ago that she no longer liked brisket for some unknown reason even though it used to be her favorite...
Looks great. I like the hidden fasteners, best way to go. Looks same color I have on my deck, little different pattern. Price to pay someone to build a deck is rediculously expensive. It is a lot of work to do yourself, but I am too cheap to pay what someone else wants.
I just got done...
I was just in stl a few weeks ago but didnt look while there. Guess I should have. I did when in kc last week but nada. Same here in sw mo where nobody carries it anymore. They are sold out online. Will have to have the units pick me some up.
“RF is fine but they are dedicated slow and low pits. That’s fine too but sometimes you need more heat. RF pits are more difficult to get to higher temps.”
I disagree with this assessment. I can easily get and maintain 275 to 350 on my reverse flow. It has great flavor and bark.
Looks delicious. I had pork steaks for dinner too except with a salad and acorn squash. The better half likes the fat more rendered out so I usually put them into a aluminum pan for 45 min with some water and cover after grilling. Then sauce, set and serve. They were a staple growing up in STL...
I bought one a few weeks ago but havent used it yet. Got it for sausage. Could have used it for the tri tip had for dinner but it was last minute and just threw it onto grill. Ever used it for pork steaks?
Wish I could go out for some weed killer and come back with some Taylor Traveler and BT. I would take just one of those. Local has had Bookers for first time in forever here. Had to buy a cpl bottles for the stash.
