Who else out there is disappointed with the premade pepper holders available? I haven't found one with holes large enough for the huge peppers we are getting. So I came up with a last minute throw together idea here so I could smoke a bunch at one time.

The smaller steaks were from a prime rib we had from Xmas. Can't beat the sale price at $10.99 or less during the holidays. The last couple of years we've sliced at least one into steaks. Best damn ribeyes we've bought

After a weekend of smoking I'm going back to my good ol ribeye grilling. On the Treager for 30 or 40 min and on to the 600/700 charcoal grill for a quick sear. Damn they look good. Tomahawks are going to take a few minutes longer. All good as long as all come out MOOOOWING
This was my second full untrimmed brisket I smoked, I have smoked several corned beef briskets that came out amazing. I am not saying this one wasn't okay, but that's all I can say it was only okay. For what it cost I can get three or four pork butts. I know (or at least feel like I do) what...
I think I'm done with briskets after this weekend. Besides one butt out of the three I smoked came out amazing. Still the one that wasn't perfect or still pulled okay, all three taste great
I can't say that about my brisket, taste wise it was great, I can't brag about that is was that perfect...
After two long cooks the past two days I have to say I only used a quarter of the pellets I've used in the past. I also noticed it hit my set temps quicker and only had a 5 to 10 degree temp swing
