Ideal gift for Thanksgiving food...
...extend the time it takes to smoke anything. Best to have a dual probe thermometer... one for meat temp, one for smoker temp. I have some Inkbird ones and two Smokes from Thermoworks. The Inkbird ones are cheaper but I like the Smokes better.
Depending on where you live... a welding blanket...
Not to diminish anyones experience on Inkbird or other products. I have had zero issues with all the Inkbird stuff I have and that is at least 6 products across multiple product categories. Obviously YMMV
Hardest part here is finding a good company that with ship to them. I work in logistics and international shipping is brutal. Does inkbird have something like that? Wonder is coming from some where other than the US might be easier for them?
EDIT:
Found this it has an EU option. Don't know much...
May have to put it in a plastic lidded container or ziplock bag and move it higher on a shelf next to the grill or hang it from a handle IDK. The 300' is probably line of sight to the base and the more metal (garage door down?), walls or brick and no windows will reduce the range.
Inkbird has a decent wireless probe for about $100. MEATER has another for a lot more. Thermoworks has one that is brand new and wireless (supposed to be fantastic, but I've never used it) and its really expensive. If you're ok going with one that is wired (and many of us do and they work fine)...
Inkbird INT-14-BW or Thermopro TempSpike 100’?
I realize one is 2 probe and the other is 4 and they are different is price. But what about accuracy and quality ?
Will I really go wrong with either?
