I have used them and prefer them over Bear Mountain brand. Not a lot of dust but i sift mine into airtight buckets for storage. Does not have an overwhelming smoke flavor just enough I'm not a fan of smoke being the star of the dish. Never had an issue.

As a former Navy diver I can attest to the fact that you can indeed use air tools under water. We did it all the time. Hard to see with the massive amount of air bubbles though.
