Sounds like the right plan. I just have to get permission to use the slicer from the "home" office, lol. She hates cleaning it after usage. Doesn't bother me, since I don't have to clean it, lol.
That's the recipe. It's very easy, and I like it a lot. I use the bagged, and I can tell the Fresh has to be much better. I have a mandolin, going to try the Fresh next time. Growing up, my Dad made homemade. He used his meat slicer to cut the heads very fast.
Looks Great as always! The leftovers look even better. Nice work, I'm still using your Cole Slaw recipe from a few years ago, best I've had. Since I'm the only Slaw eater here at Home, I make just enough for a few meals.
Looks great Rich! No instant pot here, so I'll try old school. Your instant pot method is very good, I've read a little about that. I may have heard Katz' pressure cooks before slicing, makes sense. If this turns out good, I may get one, once I get approval from the home office, lol.
I've not tried this particular method. My several Pastrami cooks came out not so good. Steve, this seems like an easy method. I just got 2 points and 2 flats at our Aldi, Cattleman's. I'm def using 2 for Pastrami with your Method. I'll let you know how it goes. At least I don't have to...
As a native Jerseyan, born and raised, I love Pork Roll. Can only get thin sliced prepacked here in Ga. at Publix. When we moved here in 1992, they still had the loaf and would cut it to order, bit not anymore. I also love a Pork Roll Egg and Cheese on hard roll. For a while I was getting...
Same to you Neighbor. We got the ice they predicted, still sleeting now. No plans to go outside, let alone on the road. It's 30' feels like 18 they are saying. Tonight into Monday supposed to re ice everywhere.
We're expecting more ice than anything else here in Ga. Power losses expected as well. Mostly in the teens overnight and 20-30 daily. We're prepping now. The Mrs. is making a big pot of Beef Vegetable soup. Luckily we have a gas stove, so even if no power we can still cook.
Great score Rich! I've not been in a ?Goodwill in years. We drop off donations thru the drive thru. Now I'll have to check it out. Great dish too. May try it this Winter.
Looks perfectly perfect, Rich! There's no other way to eat that without a mess. The mess is part of it's charm, lol. Excellent work and congrats on the Carousel ride.
