    Renting out a Smoker

That is a cool looking smoker. Definitely a work of art.

    Life without a thumb

Nerve damage sucks. Back in 2009, I broke a big glass water bottle. It severed the nerve and tendon in my right wrist. The shard was so sharp, I didn't even feel it. Had surgery to fix the nerve and tendon, but the nerve didn't take. I still have no feeling in my right index finder, and limited...

Sourdough Peanut Butter Milk Stout Beer Bread

That might be the only way I’ll consume the “pastry beers”. Add it to a food recipe. I don’t brew that style beer, so I won’t be able to try it. A slice with some strawberry jam sounds pretty good.

Featured PBBE With A Side Salad!!

I read the plus as another slice. So if you only have four slices with one pizza, you'd have to have another pizza to get the plus slice. Still less than eating eight slices.

Featured PBBE With A Side Salad!!

Ok, so how do you get 4 plus? 2 pizzas?

    Any other SMF Bourbon/Whiskey "enthusiasts"?

I saw this at the liquor store. I decided to do epic sh*t and buy a bottle.

    Damn. Chuck Norris passed away

Before the boogie man goes to sleep every night, he checks to make sure Chuck Norris isn't under his bed. RIP Chuck.

    Shrinkflation - V8 juice

I forgot that I had a tube of tooth paste in the cabinet, so I bought another one. When I was putting it in the cabinet, I found the one I had. Slightly smaller tube, but it says 33% more. I forget what the price was.

    A (not so) deep thought.

Here in New Hampshire, I’d prefer to stay on daylight savings year round. I lived in Indiana before they joined the daylight savings plan. The sun sets about an hour later there than it does here. It should be up to the states. Just my opinion.

    First Smoked Chili

I never thought about smoking chili, but that sounds delicious. I’m gonna have to try that. I’m thinking about using my cast iron Dutch oven. I’m sure it will fit in my smoker. I can’t wait for the snow to melt, and getting the smoker fired up.

Is Lone Star worth the wait vs Pitts & Spitts?

Sure is shiny. And has a lot of room. Hope it works out for you.

Saying goodbye to an old relic.

Well, the bright side is that your electric bill will be lower. The old ones are built to last, not be easy on the electric bill.

    Major storm coming

I'm in Claremont, about 10-12 miles west of Sunapee. I'm sure the mountain has plenty of snow for the skiers, but I'm happy with only 2 inches.

    Major storm coming

As I've said before, I'm glad I moved to New Hampshire. We got a couple inches here. Where I used to live got about 18 inches.

    Major storm coming

I used to live on the South Shore area in Massachusetts. I moved to New Hampshire over 10 years ago. The storms that hit the South Shore since then has made me glad that I moved to New Hampshire. They say 2-4 inches where I live now. Where I used to live, 18-24.

    "Moroccan" Lamb-Ball Stew

I found a recipe from Morocco for homemade dinner rolls. It called for fresh thyme but mine was outdated. I used it anyway. You know, as I reminisce, I really like that old thyme Moroccan roll.
