Hey it looks great......but it looks like you might have room to add a second grate right below the top grate....that would give you more area to cook more things when needed.

The solid plate was from the bottom of the original smoker and placed there cause I couldn't find much on how to build a good diffuser. It has since been removed and I am working on how to run my mini without a diffuser. I miss the taste I get from the drippings on the coals.

Don't know how many members on here are from the Denver Metro area but there is an Electric Smoker for sale for $100 on craigslist.
