    Oak flooring question

Can you tell if boards are glued together to make wider planks? You can tell by looking at the grain, If the grain is inconsistent they have been glued together. If that's the case, I don't think I would use it.

    Dried jalapeno's - try number 2 - venison/jalapeno/cheddar summer sausage

My eyes are not what they used to be, the photos looked like snack sticks. It would help if I'd opened up the photos.:)

    Dried jalapeno's - try number 2 - venison/jalapeno/cheddar summer sausage

Great looking sticks!! I like the texture, did you use sheep casings? As far as Jalapeno's go, I use 8 grams dried Jalapeno per kilo of meat. If I want to go hotter I use 9g or mild 7g. A lot easier then chopping up fresh jalapenos but maybe not as much flavor. With fresh Jalapenos, I use 1...

    HVAC School. Good idea?

I started in havc when I was 21, at 30 started my own hvac company and at 45 sold that company and was able to retire. There is money to be made in hvac. If I have any advice for you it is, take in as much education, regarding this industry, as possible throughout your carrier. This should...

    Eldon's Pepper sticks

Does it call for a binder, non fat dry milk, soy protein? That would help the bind with a recipe calling for little fat, in my opinion.

    Great strainer!!

Probably my procedure but half the time, my sheep casings ended up in a big pile of knots down at the bottom of my basin strainer, lol. With this one, I'm able to spread the casings out wile working with them.

    Great strainer!!

This has to be the best strainer I've owned to deal with fresh casings for small batches. For $16 from amazon you cant go wrong. Sink space, in my house, is a at premium so it sitting above the sink really helps. I also use it to rinse off chubs/sticks with a little warm water after they come...
