Can you tell if boards are glued together to make wider planks? You can tell by looking at the grain, If the grain is inconsistent they have been glued together. If that's the case, I don't think I would use it.

Probably my procedure but half the time, my sheep casings ended up in a big pile of knots down at the bottom of my basin strainer, lol. With this one, I'm able to spread the casings out wile working with them.
This has to be the best strainer I've owned to deal with fresh casings for small batches. For $16 from amazon you cant go wrong.
