    So the top wire is the thermostat and is soposed to have a plug in the kit to trick the unit as the wire is only 10 inches long and realy unnecessary but unit won't run without it as a safety measure I guess just wondering if someone knows how to bypass it or make my own

    Probably just a preference to what you want I just did 3 loins of backbacon for the first time and I did hot smoked with a 36 hour cure after injection and a 40 min in the vack tumbler and it turned out killer
