Wagyu Brisket - Best I've Ever Had (w/ pics)

Thank you, Gary! It took about 3 days in the fridge to (mostly) thaw out, faster than I expected! Luckily this one was a gift, so I didn't have my own cash invested haha My slicer left those long knife strokes that I bet are what you are seeing. Seems like it is time to sharpen it haha. Hope...

I whiffed on trim pics, but can tell you my favorite trim videos are Aaron Franklin and Jirby BBQ on YouTube. Thanks, Jake!

Wagyu Brisket - Best I've Ever Had (w/ pics)

Thank you, Chris! I appreciate it, Bear! I don't know how I'll go back to box store briskets, or how I'll financially handle being an SRF guy now :D Absolutely agree--love leftovers! Thanks, Ryan!

Wagyu Brisket - Best I've Ever Had (w/ pics)

Only wagyu I've ever cooked, but if they are anything like this one, it is worth the money! Thanks, Al! It was a beautiful cut of meat. Thank you! You won't regret it!

Wagyu Brisket - Best I've Ever Had (w/ pics)

Thank you all! Can't recommend the wagyu enough. I know quality can vary, but man it was good stuff. We have a local spot out here that sells wagyu believe it or not--Booth Creek Wagyu. I believe they ship nationwide now and are a bit cheaper than SRF.

Wagyu Brisket - Best I've Ever Had (w/ pics)

Thanks, Go Vols! Thank you, Rob! I appreciate it! I definitely think this setting produces the best smoked meat for me on this particular grill. Camp Chef says "on the Lo Smoke and Hi Smoke settings, pellet grills fluctuate within 10° or 15° from the target temperature. This forces the auger...

Wagyu Brisket - Best I've Ever Had (w/ pics)

Smoked my first ever wagyu brisket while the in-laws were in town since my father-in-law likes to smoke meat occasionally himself. The brisket was about 13# from Snake River Farm. I'm embarrassed to say how long it'd been in my deep freezer--I got it as a gift from my boss (who is from Central...

Good Ole Fashioned Labor Day Smoke

The first few months wrecked tourism in Gatlinburg (and everywhere I assume) while things were shut down--though I completely agree with the decision to do it. Things have gotten closer to normal building slowly through the summer based on dad's observations at least. I love the shine pickles btw!

Good Ole Fashioned Labor Day Smoke

Awesome spread, glad it was a good day! I'm loving the Old Smokey moonshine jar--I'm a big fan. My Dad actually works in Gatlinburg so we usually have a jar of one of the flavored varieties at the house when I visit.
