I recently got a smoker from someone who said it works. After plugging the unit up. I turned it on. But the temp and time button dont do anything. Is it a bad control panel?

Yea I did. I have always hosed my smokers out when through with cooking. Oops. I did as said. I'll leave it out overnight with the door open. It's now leaning forward. Hope this solves it.
