    Merry Christmas - Got an AMNPS for Christmas (qview)

    Merry Christmas - Got an AMNPS for Christmas (qview)

    Merry Christmas all! I recieved an AMNPS yesterday! I smoked a pork butt for a family gathering going on today. I let it smoke in my MES 30 with the AMNPS going all night! This one took about 12 hrs at 225. Just took it out. Oh yah! Happy Smoking. Snow

    First Tri-Tip, first qview

    Thanks for all the complements and advice. I think I would finish on my grill right at the end next time. I did a 2.5-2.5-1 on ribs today with a 5 min finish on my charcoal weber. The grill finish made a difference. They were great. Sorry no Qview. Looked so good I forgot. Happy smoking! Snow

    How Many Mes Owners Here?

    I love my MES 30. Got it from Lowes. It is unbeatable if you get an A-Maze-N-Smoker to use in it. I don't use the chip tray at all. AMNS is the way to go! Hot or cold smokes. Snow

    First Tri-Tip, first qview

     I threw my first Tri-Tip in the MES 30 smoker. Salt, pepper and a little onion powder. Filled the A-Maze-N-Smoker with two rows of Cherry and Hickory mixed. Power went out after an hour and a half. No worries, fire up the generator! Hit 140 after two hours at 225. Perfect beef! Sliced thin for...
