    Smoker box vs smoke tube

That makes sense. It’s nice that they have them at Target. I’ll have to look at mine and see if they have them in stock.

    Some newbie questions.

I brined and smoked one this year and it was really good. I don't care turkeys cooked in the oven. You usually have to soak them in gravy or they are too dry to eat.

    Some newbie questions.

If you read the first few posts then the 125 will make sense to you. I am asking a question about the operation of pellet smokers. Not cooking temperatures.

    Some newbie questions.

When you decrease the temperature, is there a minimum temp you can get too? Like 125 or so? You can’t decrease the temperature enough to cause the grill to go out? I know that pellet grills require electricity. What happens when you power them off? What does that do to the fire?

    Smoker box vs smoke tube

That looks good. You went big on that one. That’s what I want to do as well. I have an 18” Weber Smokey Mountain. I also have a Weber Spirit II that would give me more grate room. My wife let it slip that I am getting a Weber smoker box for Christmas. Those are used to turn a propane grill into...

    Some newbie questions.

Please forgive my ignorance on this subject, that is why I am here. Since the weather has finally started to calm down in Florida I have been smoking a lot. I really enjoy this hobby and I feel like I am perfecting a craft using my Weber Smokey Mountain. I am a die hard charcoal guy and have a...

    Smoker box vs smoke tube

Is it possible to use a smoker box in a manner similar to a smoke tube? I am interested in beginning a journey into the world of smoked cheeses. Since my wife and I use them pretty often for fondue among other things. I would like to make my own and see how it goes. I think that if the holes in...

    First smoke

I got my first smoker for my birthday a few months ago so I decided to try it out. I did a Boston butt. I cooked it at about 280 for 7 hours on an 18” Weber Smokey Mountain. Wrapped it in foil at 160 degrees and added some apple juice and let it cook until it reached 205. It turned out great.

    New guy

Hello ladies and gentlemen. New guy here from Florida. I've not smoked anything yet but I've been dehydrating/making jerky for years. I seen those forums on here. I've been curious about smoking and researching for a while now so I decided to give it a shot. I live in a small apartment so I went...
