    Just make sure you watch your temperatures. Ash burns hot, hotter than hickory. It will give you a lighter smoke taste as compared to oak.

    Hello all. I have been lurking on this site for a couple weeks now and have already learned more than the last two years of smoking on my own. I smoked my best rack of ribs yesterday after following the advice from this forum. Thanks to everyone and I have become addicted to this site.
