I just got a GMG Davy Crockett. So far, so good. Size wise, it is about perfect for the RV. Especially with the additional carry bag and the stock 12volt power system. I know that played a big part of why I picked it over the Camp Chef Pursuit.

I can tell you this. If it isn't easily repairable I'm going to switch to a propane unit. I was really enjoying the fire and forget simplicity of the electric.
Plan for now is to wrap the Pork Butt and put it in the chill chest overnight. Will leave the smoker open to the breeze overnight and see if it makes a difference. If not, will take the pig hunk to the in-laws place and put it on their Green Egg.
