Yes, I have the plate for the Char Griller too, and I kept the extension tube on. Works good!  Temps hold even all across the cooking chamber.

Try Harbor Freight or Home Depot. I know they generally make them for the guys so the DO run large for our hands, but I kinda solved the problems for that by puttin white cotton gloves on, then put the Welding Gloves over them. (Welder who is a neighbor gave me the idea). They will get "greasy"...

PayPal has a "scam center" if you get a scammy looking email, send it to them and they will let ya know if it is or not. This also lets them deal with the Scammers. Scam@paypal.com Ebay has the same thing.
