I’m in Minnesota and got my smoker this summer so I haven’t really researched how smoking works in cold temps. Is it possible or just to much trouble? I have a firebox smoker. If anyone’s tried this I’d appreciate hearing what you think. Winter came early here so I haven’t done anything...

I got a combo oaklahoma joe grill for Father’s Day and made some mods because no matter what I did it ran hot. Anyone else had this problem? What i did here cut the heat tremendously and allowed me to burn enough charcoal so I could leave it alone for an hour and a half
The whole mustard thing seems awfull. Why mustard? Why not just a simple mop or bbq sauce? I don’t know much about but I’ve read mustard seems to be the binder of choice.
