Thats whats Im looking for...I plan on using the Camp Chef/Traeger primarily as a grill more than a smoker. I have my MES to really put some good smoke on. That sear station is what is pulling me in and making it more of a versatile tool.

So I just found out that I can get 24% off msrp of Camp Chef & 20% off msrp for Traeger (benefits of working for an outdoor company) I am in the market for a pellet grille to replace my Char-Broil Gas Grill. Seems like a no brainer to go with the Camp Chef Pellet Grille w/ Sear Station...am I...

And just so happened to find out I get 20% off of their pellet grilles as well!!! oh man this is tough.

actually just started looking at that camp chef...that sear station is an amazing feature. That might give it the edge on the traeger.

I actually get a discount thru my company, we get a bunch of discounts for a large variety of "outdoorsmen" type of goods. One of the pros of working where I do. lol

I guess a better thing to say is im pretty much set on a traeger pro 22 since I can get it for $640...if i do decide to go pellet. Are there any reasons why you cant see dropping my infrared and sticking just just my MES and Traeger?

I also forgot to mention...I was looking at a big green egg as well.

Thats not a bad idea. I dont think ive ever had food off a pellet grill.

Maybe others have had better luck but I certainly wouldn't recommend one.
