Lowes JMSS MES 40 Gen 2
Great thanks for clearing that up. I thought all gen 2 had the vent on the side. Is it worth it at this price or should I stay away?- michael ciaio

Lowes has this on sale. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Masterbuilt-JMSS-1200-Watt-Electric-Vertical-Smoker-Common-40-472-in-Actual-40-472-in/999977666 It's not a gen 2 or gen 2.5 It has a top vent, but has the gen 2 drip pan and water bowl. Lowes JMSS MES 40 on sale
Is the gen 2 really that bad? The ones lowes have are now selling for $279. It has the gen 2 drip plate and water pan, but the vent is on the top left. It's like a gen 2.75 ROFL. I was thinking of grabbing one and just removing the drip plate and water pan completely. How about a high temp...- michael ciaio
