    cannot get temp correct in louisiana vertical pellet smoker

    I have the same smoker. I do not use the stock pan at all. I use a large disposable aluminum pan. Also I don't put it on the lowest spot I moved it up a little seems to get better temps that match close to the controller.

    This is a Poll for those that had Covid and lost their sense of smell and taste

    Had it in Dec. My smell and taste is still not 100%. I use to have a very sensitive nose and taste but not anymore. There are some things that I can not smell at all and others smell off. At this point I don't think it will fully come back.

    I use these. They have a gasket and the 54 quart will hold 60 lbs. I use a 32 quart to hold all my rubs...

    Mine felt like a head cold and a headache but it was not. I lost taste and smell a week later.

    Running good.. Mine normally is dead on but running a little hot. Opened the stack a little in hopes to get it the temp dead on again.

    The Louisiana vertical was a little slow going this morning at 7 degrees. The auger did nor want to move. Gave it a little tap and all good. Sounded bad until it warmed up a little. Getting ready for a tri tip.
