    LSG 24x36 or 24x40?

I have only used it once. I was trying charcoal in the charcoal "S" basket. I used fogo lump and went to bed thinking it will be great. I woke up and it had burned through the whole lot of charcoal. Maybe 5 hours. I use mini splits now in the fire management basket. Works perfectly. Maybe with...

    Choosing an offset smoker

Just another fun fact about the LSG 20x42, it doesn't need tuning plates. Pretty even temps across the cooking chamber. The upper rack does cook at a higher (+10-15°) temp than the lower. Good luck.

    Choosing an offset smoker

I'm biased in my opinion. I own the LSG 20x36 and it has consistently put out excellent products. Their builds are high quality. $1900.00 is a good deal. I paid just over $3k. That was my buy once, cry once. If you go that route you definitely will not be disappointed. They work best with mini...

    So let's talk knife sharpening...

I just purchased the Tumbler Knife Sharpener off of their website. Got it yesterday and tried it out on my J.A. Henckels Classics Knife Set. They are ping sharp now. Easy to use and it does what it advertises.

20x42 offset stick lone star grillz smoker

I've had my 20x36 for just over 2 years. The highest it has gotten is about 350°. It was for a short time after adding a split. My splits used to be too big. Went to a mini split and life is good. Once these things get at temp they cruise to a beautiful finish.

    Last Round-up

Your step by step was the first and only thing I followed to a T when I first got my MES a few years ago. I still refer to them from time to time. You have helped so many who frequent this site. I hope your journey to the other side is filled with beautiful memories of a life well lived. Thank...

    Fireboard 2 Drive?

This is something I post on a charcoal s-basket thread. Hope it helps... I got one with my LSG 20x36. Used it once. It was the second cook on the 20x36 and I used lump charcoal. Mistake, burned way too hot. Kinda bent the baffles. Now I just get up around 5. Start the fire and go prep the...

    Charcoal S baskets?

The temp was fine on the s-basket. The lump charcoal burned too fast. Didn't get the 8-12 hours I was looking for. Restaurant sized or mini splits work the best on my 20X36. The LSG runs like a dream when at temp. 250-275 is the wheelhouse for my smoker. Outstanding food is always the outcome.

    Charcoal S baskets?

I got one with my LSG 20x36. Used it once. It was the second cook on the 20x36 and I used lump charcoal. Mistake, burned way too hot. Kinda bent the baffles. Now I just get up around 5. Start the fire and go prep the brisket. Hour later it's good to go and toss a split every 45 minutes to an...
