Ya I hear you Ray. I don't fault anyone for being restrictive, but I know everyone has an opinion on Covid and figured some people might be getting together anyway. I look forward to this coming to an end and being able to do normal smoking stuff again.

I have done a few pulled pork, but I made the rookie mistake of planning on them being done at a certain time, as we had company. The pork didnt agree. So I ended up pulling early. It was ok, not great. The second one was ok too, but I think that was a poor piece of meat. Maybe I need to venture...
Good call! They said on their Website that they would be open to the public to help people get the stuff they need ( And help their bottom line, with restaurants closed ) but that may not hold true everywhere.

Ya I figured with the pandemic everything was at at a halt but I'm willing to take my chances LOL
So far I've done ribs, pork butt, and a few different things using chuck roast in the place of brisket ( barbacoa tacos, poor man burnt ends, etc) and some chicken. I really want to master...
I've wanted to try not wrapping at all, but for some reason I'm hesitant. I always feel like they will be dry. I KNOW that's not the case if I do right and spritz, but maybe it's time I tried and see if that helps. Thanks!

I am fairly new to smoking, and have decided on mastering the basics before I got crazy on both meat and smokers. I have a Masterbuilt Sportsman Elite XL Pellet smoker. Moved on from a dyna glo Electric that sucked.
Anyhow, last couple of racks I have done have been my best and 90%...
That is exactly what I did!!!!! Got a good deal, on a big ass pellet smoker, and its already set up and ready to smoke. Now. Just gotta learn how to use a pellet smoker........:emoji_laughing:
