i rubbed it with famous Dave's steak and burger rub also injected it with a honey BBQ sauce last night. placed it on the smoker at 5:45 this morning will update with a pic every few hours.

so we picked up a smoker last night and i am going to build it tonight looking for advice and tips on building it. its a smoke n pit brinkmann i am going to use the high temp silicon on all seams and bolts what else should i do to it? once its built hat would be a good test for it?

hello all i am brand new at this. i am picking up a brinkmann smoke n pit on Thursday it is a fathers day gift.
please give me all of the advice and what should be the first steps to this new adventure.
