Well with the massive size of the smoker,and its 5000 watt element,i,m not even sure i would need the furnace while smoking,and since the smoker is PID controlled,it claims the controller is smart enough to adjust any temperature variation...i just dont know and before i did it i was hoping for...
I appreciate the advice,i was thinking that since its a straight shot up from the furnace,that the draft alone would go straight up...you know the path of least resistance.I also was going to invert the y downward to connect to the smoker.I hope i,m explaining this correctly.
Fellas i have a ventilation problem.I am building a large 3 door commercial electric smoker,that will be in my garage.Its a large garage,with my pool table and all my man toys,so i put in a 75,000 btu mobile home furnace to heat it as i live in northern michigan.My furnace vent is a five foot...
Awesome shoot me some pics,i have been really busy too...and just getting holes knocked out in this cabinet was harder than i thought...i,ll keep posting my progress...slow as it may be.
Were cleaning it...we took off the plastic from the doors,putting the control cabinet together...nothing real interesting to post or take pictures of...i hurt myself so things have slowed on it.
