Yep. I thought the same. I built mine and can run at least 4 batches of ribs (~5hrs each, 20-25hrs total) with just under a full basket of charcoal. Very efficient.

After much research I went with the 260 for my first sealer. Havent had it very long, but I like it a lot. Youre right about the comparison, all the bags plus rolls, then I found it for a good deal on Amazon helped make the decision to get the 260.

You can make a really big one for under $400, if you want to make your own controller, it can be much cheaper than buying the Auberins. This would give you a lot of area to hang sausage, at about 35 inches tall.
