    Cuisinart Trauma

Epoxy and a 'splint' on this might work

    Cuisinart Trauma

The Hitachi motor on this will never die. I have nightmares of old Cuisinart bases fully functional going to the dump. I am going the used/ebay route I think

    Cuisinart Trauma

Yes, food processor. There were several versions of DLC-8 Mine is an F and other series don't fit. I read that some later models had a slightly different bowl size that could be 'forced' into place. Not my favorite idea

    Cuisinart Trauma

My 43 year old Cuisinart DLC-8F that has reliably reduced many an animal part to pieces cracked its bowl. I am traumatized! It's been my pal forever. The bowl is DLC865ATX which I understand is way out of production. Anyone have a source for bowls or am I down to Ebay?

    Grill Part Question/Weber

Thanks for looking. My friend has a small machine shop in his garage, he offered to cut a disc of aluminum and put a flanged lip on it so it stays in place. Pretty cool

    Grill Part Question/Weber

I think its liability issues here. Too bad, I have seen so many Weber kettles getting tossed. Same with good bicycles

    Grill Part Question/Weber

Thanks! We have similar stuff at the transfer station here in Seattle, but if you wander anywhere near the bike pile or appliance pile they chase you off right away!

6670001 is my model which is oddly not on any compatibility list. Strange.

Will do on Monday. Seems replacing the cap better than getting a whole new burner!

    Grill Part Question/Weber

My summer learning to use my gas smoker was a big success. Did lots of ribs and chicken for the learning curve on heat control. This was a Masterbuilt vertical that I converted to NG from propane. Works great, home gas bill went up! I just picked up a used Weber Genesis S-330 grill to replace...

    Bad Case of Gas

First run with set up above. Question: How should I adjust air vents on back of smoker? Not sure how that works

The old standby places are fading fast. Not a lot of the older businesses left. I tired of cold water diving long ago. No dry suits for me.

Here we go. Success with pan with holes in lid.
