    Pulled Pork

I'm thinking you're right, too. I put rub on the chuck roast I did for shredded beef and same thing - couldn't tell I had put anything on it!

    Pulled Pork

I really like Wyoming - very different than Ohio, but man I really like the space! No state income tax is really nice, too. :) Actually, I just got a new tentative job offer - a remote position working for the Office of the Secretary for the DOI in their orphaned wells program. Way it reads...

    Pulled Pork

Made some pulled pork after my experimentation with shredded beef. This time I followed a video from YouTube for making it in the oven. Put it on a rack at 275, covered in a new rub. After a couple hours, spritzed it with combo of apple juice and apple cider vinegar. Let it get to about 170...

    Smoker/grill for apartment

True, but I can't just buy the first thing I see, I have to over analyze and research myself into indecision. Lol

    Smoker/grill for apartment

A coworker came in today and told me about Ninjas Woodfire XL grill and smoker. This looked pretty appealing due to it being electric - my apartment complex explicitly forbids anything that burns charcoal. Says nothing about pellet smokers though! So after looking at it, I figured I'd ask you...

    "Grilling" beans - suggestions/recipes?

I'm an infrequent contributor. :) Ever since I moved to this apartment in 2021, they don't allow anything other than gas grills, so I've not used my Weber kettle in years.

    "Grilling" beans - suggestions/recipes?

When I made my shredded beef, I bought a couple cans of Bush's Grilling Beans. I've eaten them quite often, but I think it's time for me to try something of my own, so I figured I'd ask you folks. :) I want something spicier, maybe throw in some bacon pieces and peppers. What kind of beans...

Best way to make pulled beef without a grill?

Aye, used the dutch oven to sear it on the stove top and then put it in the oven for about 3hrs in the dutch oven. Flipped it over half way through. The biggest surprise was that I didn't really taste any of the rub. Would that be fixed by letting the chuck season overnight?

Best way to make pulled beef without a grill?

Turned out pretty good. Don't really taste the rub at all, but beef is nice. Could have cooked it longer at a lower temp as it's not SUPER tender. Put some BBQ sauce on it and dinner done!
