    I've used offsets and Ugly Drum smokers but I am now thinking of getting rid of them for a gravity fed Stumps "baby" smoker it's more expensive then the Lang but IMO and easier smoker to use if you want to set it and forget it.

    The pellets in the shop section on Rec Tec's website are called "Ultimate Blend" what kind of wood pellets did they send you? Is the ultimate blend pellets just the fuel and if you want other flavors do you have to go out and find maple/cherry/apple ect pellets?

    I've seen places online that sell baskets like this but with every one of them the dividers were doubled and each set of dividers were separated by about a half an inch. They say single divider walls could get the fuel hot on then other side and it could catch on fire before the actual fire...

    I just realized the basket I made has a couple washers covered with zinc, should I worry about this or just burn them real well before I use the basket in the smoker?

    I did notice on my seasoning that sometimes I needed to leave my side door on my firebox opened 2 inches or more in order to keep the splits flaming. I'm assuming you never want the flame to go out even if you have burning embers?
