Pellets in the tray instead of the wood chips? Trying to find away for my chips to last longer before I've to switch and have heard pellets will last longer. I'm thinking the element mayn't get hot enough for pellets to work

Yea I've the 4n1 the smoker takes wood chips but I'm wondering if could do pellets in the tray

4n1 Combo and was wondering if any others have this as well? I'm pretty happy with it myself. I haven't messed with the charcoal side yet but have plans to this weeked

I recently bought a Pitboss Memphis Ultimate 4n1 and ran across the forums. I'm pretty happy with the Pitboss so far and its my first smoker. Was looking at other pellet smokers and other electric ones but decided to get this one. I found on clearance for $295 instead of $492.. Looks like...

Yea they did break apart when I unwrapped them from the foil actually learned a lesson be more careful during this process. I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have placed them back in smoker as long unwrapped after seeing this so will try that aspect differently next time.

Thanks! I tryed to keep temp at 225 and put foil on them for 2hrs and then only put back in for another 40min or so unwrapped. I read do for another hour but was getting dark. Mixed in some rub and cinnamon and little honey as well

I recently purchased a Pitboss Ultimate 4n1 and tryed smoking ribs for the first time on Sunday. I think they turned out pretty good for my first time.. I'm thinking I either put to much rub or over did some because some parts where dry but majority of it was great! Glad I found these forums so...
