    If you know anyone - or buy a lot of meat- Costco is hands down the best meat supplier I've found in any grocery store. Quality meats- even prime steaks from Time to time. Pork is great- (tho not heritage) The yearly membership pays for itself in $ saved buying protein their IMO.

    Always wanted to try jerky making. Anyone have experience with a BGE and jerky? Lowest I've ever taken the egg was 200 for a long. Brisket smoke. Not sure how much lower I can go. I could try literally 10-12 briquettes.. and close every vent. Why would be the target temp for jerky...

    Prague powder is the best cure I've ever used. They add the pink color so people know it's a curing salt and not kosher/table salt.
