    Wood for Cheese?

@mole177, I look forward to hearing how that turns out. I have been trying to experiment with some new wood and that was one I was kicking around.

I agree with mballi3011, you can never have too many grills or smokers!

    Noob from Southern Cali

Good luck with that! Family are always the best guinea pigs for a new smoker. Your mods sound good. And the worst thing that happens is you have to eat "okay" smoked meat (which is still better than any other meat!).

    Basic Pulled Pork Smoke

I definitely like to use the juice in the pan sans the fat and put it in bags as well. It warms it up and the bags seal in the moisture instead of losing it to the microwave.

    Louisiana Cheese Smoke

Smoked Mac and Cheese is where its at! I saw that post on here and thought, that just sounds like it needs to be done. I don't know if I can ever eat regular mac and cheese again...

First Cold Smoked Cheese and Almonds w/ Q-View

I have never smoked cheese on a grill. I live in Florida so cold smoking here is not so easy without a freezer. I use a chest freezer that I installed racks in. How do you cold smoke on a grill like that??

    Wood for Cheese?

My favorites are apple and pecan. Hickory is also good on your harder cheeses.

    First Time Smoking! w/ QView

Wow, those look great! I have never made a fatty, in fact, I had never even heard of such a thing. However, I am now very excited to make one. My arteries are getting hard just thinking about it. Thanks for the walk through, and the pics are great help!
