Oh, I think I have one of those

I have been grilling since I was old enough to figure out how to light charcoal, cooking over on open fire, and smoking meat for a few years now. This site got me interested in dutch oven cooking. I have what all of my friends call a "dutch oven" but it's not the camp style, no legs, no rim on...

    Easy Dutch Oven Cobblers

This recipie shall be my first attempt at cooking with a dutch oven. I plan on using canned peaches/pie filling. Question though. If using fresh fruit, do I need to add liquid to it or maybe just some sugar?

    Howdy from small town Iowa

Thanks for the welcome everybody, this seems like a really cool place. And yes, Iowa is pretty much a matrix of small towns in between patches of corn. I live in Monroe. It's about 10 minutes north of Lake Red Rock. And surprisingly we do have a 3 story apartment complex here, I think this...

    Corned beef

AWESOME IDEA! I live about 10 minutes from Red Rock. It's a great camp if you can find room, a lot of snowbirds there who book it up all year. Marion County park (Knoxville) is also a good little camp and real friendly for group camps.
