So in Nov Im flying home to KC for a visit and need a location to rent a smoker. I have a large family coming to

I must say I like mine very much I have yet to cook with it but I have done a couple of test burns to learn how my smoker runs. The pro-level ambient probe works nice. I still have to learn the app there are lots of details and few instructions.
Looks right on to me. When I do my butts they are in the smoker for right at 24hrs. Its never fails to make great pulled pork.
I do just like you with one change I start high at 275 to get it about 145. then I bring it down to 200 at let it just slowly raise.
I pull it when it gets around 195...
So I just drop in my first set of ribs in the smoker. Im currently am using ash logs for smoking. I live in MT and any hardwood in tough to find. But heres some veiws

So the smoker is usable only wheels and the lower foot to paint but it has come a long ways from when it got dropped off. My test run was 220 for about 4 hrs with only about 1/2 bag of kingsford used. So all in all not a bad smoker for about 150 bucks.
So the pit is running for the test burn. its maintains 225 with the intake 1/4 opened and the chimney at 1/4 open.
I will let you know more after about 4 hrs of running. so at about 4 hrs running I used about 10lbs of kingsford at a temp of about 220.
