    Thanks all, that just built my confidence! That was my first smoke and now I'm hooked. Just a light coat of honey the last 30mins of smoke. Apple wood did the trick.

    Newbie here!

    If anyone has a simple and really good recipe for salmon, let me know. I've been watching utube videos and....well, I might need to go get accessories first.

    Mike from Colorado. Just got a basic Charbroil Professional offset smoker for Fathers day. I'm very new to this and going to try to smoke some Salmon. Any suggestions on how and temp?
