    Yes took me alittle while to come up with design. I have a spit in there. Also have 5 baskets that rotate like a Ferris wheel that can be changed to. The tank opens to put the spit in and has a vent to the oven that can be controlled to smoke in their also.

    Thank you. Going to try a steamship round in the new smoker next weekend. I smoked a whole hog in it last weekend for the first time using it. Held temp nicely through out the whole process.

    I am making a reverse flow 275 gal. tank smoker. I calculated it to have a cc of 206 gal. My cc / fb is 192 cu in. I was wondering if the fire box size is measured from the top of the fire grate?     Just picked up a new 275 gal. tank to make a smoker. Have been using a brinkman smoker for a few years. It's starting to fall apart so i picked up a tank to make a rf with a ferris wheel and or racks for it. This way i can put shelves and take them out for a spit. Will have picks of our procss...
