Chandler - Kyrene and Ray. Spent most of the day in the pool reading about other people’s cooks. I have a Masterbuilt 560 with a busted temp probe, so just itching to get to cooking while waiting on the mail to deliver the replacement.
If you will take some advice from a newbie, Take a look at the latches on the Masterbuilt 560. The thing I love is the ability to operate with just the thumb and forefinger. One handed operation is a dream.
You had me in the first half...not gonna lie. I couldn’t understand why you would remove the skins. That’s the best part! Then I kept reading and saw the cracklings. Good plan. As Michael Jordan once said “screw them kids”. Those cracklings are for the chef.
More surface area means more bark. Yum.
Smaller pieces means it cooks faster and might not get tender enough. Sad.
I await someone else who has more experience to point out which way to go.
I think once the grill is connected to WiFi and paired with the app, the temp data is transmitted to MB servers. So while I was no longer on WiFi, I was signed into the app through their servers and the grill was connected to their servers vi WiFi.
I should also mention, I think the Bluetooth...
