    Was trying for 225. Was taking forever.... Closed the stack and set to 300 and got it up to temp at 240 And reset temp to 225 and it dropped to 209 And fluctuated around there.

    Sorry it posted wrong? Amy problems with the rec tec? How is the thermostat? Any wild swings? Or is it set it and forget it? Also in The smoker I use there is a water pan. Do you use that in your pellet smokers?
