These pics are taken and the Shield installed with bottom tray/bowl rack turned 180 degrees and on top of the tray/bowl rack slides, it will not slide in backwards at it has the turned up lip when installed correctly, turn the rack around 180 and sit the rack on top of the rack slides and it moves the AMNPS off of the "S" in the burner thereby removing the additional heat from the element and eliminating "Flare up" of the pellets from excessive added heat from the element burning in high temp cooking or possibly low outdoor temp cooking.
