It looks like a heavy duty charcoal grill. I like the idea of a door on the front where you can replace charcoal or wood while cooking. If the grill is painted then it will rust. I have a painted smoker that i have to keep painted to keep off rust. Looks like an ash tray under the grill to clean out charcoal ash. You might have to put a gasket on the charcoal door if it leaks smoke or loses temperature. I cant tell what kind of thermometer that is on the lid. I use a meat probe anyway. Looks like its pretty well built.
