T-Bones on my Stacked Webers
We got some T-Bones on sale, so I figured I’d throw them on the Smokey Joe for some charcoal flavor. I like to set my SJ on my Weber “Q”, so it’s more comfortable than bending down to the little guy, plus that way I can utilize the side tables on the Weber Q.
The flavor was awesome as usual, after marinating a few hours in Teriyaki Marinade, but I was reminded why I always buy Ribeyes when they’re on sale. The NY Strip sides of the T-Bones were tough, and nothing like what I’m used to. Hard to believe these were marked “Choice”, but this seems to happen to me often when I buy T-Bones or NY Strip Steaks. They just can’t compare to a Ribeye.
Anyway Everything tasted Great, and I snapped some pics for you guys.
My Upgraded Smoking Porch should be ready to go again soon.
Hope you enjoy,
Bear
Only need about a half of a Chimney for my little Smokey Joe:

Here’s where my Weber “Q” saves wear & tear on the Bear’s back.
Note---I threw some Cherry Pellets on the coals too:

Good thing these T-Bones weren’t any bigger, or they wouldn’t have fit on my Smokey Joe!!
